TRMM - The Roll Model® Method: Ball Sequencing & Innovation


The Roll Model Method is a soft-tissue conditioning, self-care fitness format that uses the various Roll Model® Therapy Balls for self-myofascial release (self-massage). This may include breath work, CheckIn and ReCheck, elements of alignment, anatomy instruction and mental awareness (such as conscious relaxation). The four different Roll Model Therapy Balls used within the Roll Model® Method are the YTU Original Therapy Balls, the Therapy Ball PLUS, the ALPHA Ball (and ALPHA Twinset), and the Coregeous® Ball. Each provide a different size and density to help target various body areas uniquely and allow for varying pressure needs to help craft an individualized approach.

  • Maintain your body and prevent injuries using self-care strategies with the YTU Therapy?
  • Identify bony landmarks, muscular attachments, and fascia geography to enhance your?teaching or personal daily practice
  • Deepen your understanding of pain physiology and how to use the YTU Balls to erase pain
  • Learn 6 distinct step-by step Therapy Ball sequences that affect positive changes in the rotator cuff, spine, neck, jaw, hips, IT band, calves, and feet

 

Put the power of self-myofascial release into your own hands. This training empowers you to personally adopt and teach simple yet highly effective self-care regimens for pain-relief and improved performance. The 4 different sized Roll Model® therapy balls included in this module can be used as an adjunct offering within personal training sessions, stretch, Pilates, dance classes, wellness coaching, yoga, massage therapy, or with kids and special needs populations.

This module is open to all levels of student/educator/clinician. There is no pre-requisite to attend, but you are highly encouraged to take TRMM: The Science of Rolling before or after taking this module.

The course requires participants to read Roll Dich Fit (The Roll Model).
